Show & Tell - happy birthday card
Today is my honey’s birthday…Happy Birthday Vlad! Here’s the card I put together for him. I really like how it turned out.
I used 8×8 cardstock and folded in half. I created all the letters with the Sizzix Big Shot {fruit smoothie} die. A flattened Cheerios cereal box worked great for the letter backing. I used a small flat bristle paintbrush to apply the glue for the letters. To make sure the letters were aligned properly I kept a ruler positioned to where I wanted them and just lined the letters up against it. For the orange circle I punched this with the Fiskars {large} squeeze punch. The Fiskars squeeze punches are the best! The white mesh I purchased at Home Depot in the drywall section, you can get 150 feet for under $3. This is the same type of mesh that was on QVC recently. You can get white and yellow at the local hardware store. The mesh is self-adhesive and so easy to work with. I really like working with this and it adds such a cool look to your projects. The ribbon stuck right to it.
