Show & Tell - wrapping paper made from a grocery bag
June 17th, 2008
I waited until the last minute to wrap Vlad’s father’s day present. The only wrapping paper we had was for birthdays and weddings. I came up with this quick solution and made some paper using a paper bag from the grocery store. I like how it came out.
This was so simple. Just cut a large grocery bag open and lay flat. Then stamp away onto the flattened bag. Wrap-up your present and embellish with ribbon, bows or what ever you have available. You have custom home made wrapping paper! This would be a fun project to let the kids make too.
Products used
- Paper grocery bag {Whole Foods}
- Baroque Motif Stamps {Stampin Up}
- Scallop Punch {Stampin Up}
- Ink {Anna Griffin}
- Craft string

Just fantastic-I would have never thought of it.
Love the wrapping paper. I wrapped my nephew’s b-day present in brown paper then let DD color the paper on Friday! Always a great idea!!!
