Hip kid-friendly tunes & a give-away!
I’m always on the lookout for creative and unique music for little Nika to listen to. She loves to dance and sing. We’ve been rockin out to our latest discovery from the Brian Waite Band “20,000 Volts Under the Sea“. I just love it! I never knew kids music could be so hip. Even my honey was surprised to know it was a kids CD. Really fun songs and definitely not your typical kid tunes.
There’s a a great rock base with a wonderful blend of funk, blues, and even reggae. It’s not often a band can accomplish several styles of music well and these guys go even further by combining these styles into a playful and fun collection of songs.
This dad trio writes, plays and performs all their own stuff. You can download free samples of their music here.
** Give-away **
I have one extra CD to give one of you! Just leave a comment on this post. For fun tell me about the special little someone you’re going to share these rockin tunes with. I’ll leave comments open until Thursday 5/28 and pick a random winner. Please only one comment per person, open to US mailing addresses.
Check out how fun these guys are in concert! I’m totally going to take Nika to see them this summer

I would share these tunes with my two children and I watch an almost 2 year old also three days a week who loves music so I would share with him!!
those guys are too cute……..love the eel!! I would share this with my three year old grandson because I get sooooo tired of having to listen to the Wiggles over and over in the car with him…LOL…this would be a great change..thanks!!!
I would share this with my granddaughters (4 & 6). They love to sing and dance.
Hey there — I would share this with my 2-year old. We love to sing and dance!! Thanks! #5411
Great Giveaway, that is so cool.
I would listen and share this with my daughter who is now 10 months old. She loves it when I put on up-beat music while she is in the jumper. It gives her something to jump with. And I have to say she is pretty good with keeping the beat.
If this is open to Canadians I would share it with my 4 almost 5 year old daughter. She loves music.
If you won’t ship to Canada…just ignore this.
Oh my goodness, I love hearing new and non-buggy kids music. My Sweet Babboo, who is three, would love something new to dance to.
Too funny, they really do have alot of talent.
I would love my Granddaughter to hear this. She listens to Disney channel alot and this would fit right in.
Thanks for the chance. Donna # 4454
Hi….Well I know how much music helps children learn and succeed. It made an incredible difference in my children’s lives as they grew up..both accomplished musicians, singers and actors, not to mention excellent students! Now I am asked my many to sit for their kids (mostly my nephews) as we had such great success with our kids and NO troubles! lol…so yes, I would love to share this with my nephews(great-nephews and one great-neice) that I care for regularly as all the parents work these days to make ends meet. I am a fiskateer too! #5859. So ty in advance for the chance and please toss my name into the hat! Cher
Girl listening to kid music is hip!!! My little four year old thinks it is and she is one of the lights of my life and the biggest inspiration for my scrapbooking too. My oldest is 13 need I say more? I love that you have Miss Charlotte Doddles picture on the left of your blog
Have a good day!

Wow, these guys are awesome. I can just see my little grandson dancing all over the place to this CD. In fact Grandma will probably join him. Thanks for the chance to win.
